Abstract: In this talk, we will show the log-holder continuity of the integrated density of states is optimal for quasiperiodic Schrodinger operator, consequently, the Lyapunov exponent of the corresponding cocycle escapes any modules of continuity. This is joint work with A.Avila, M.Shamis and Y.Last.
