I will discuss some aspects of the theory of Laplace- and Dirac-type operators
on a class of Riemannian spaces generalizing Joyce's QALE spaces in complex geometry.
The ultimate goal is to obtain index theorems of Atiyah-Patodi-Singer type for these spaces,
and I will describe some partial results toward this end. This is joint with work Anda Degeratu.
