Considering "small" rational solutions of polynomial equationsin several variables as random data on the set of real solutions, one can try to understand how they are asymptotically distributed. It turns out that the solutions often tend to accumulate on some smaller sets. One of the current challenge in diophantine geometry is to interpret this phenomena. In this talk, we shall follow an experimental approach based on simple examples
