Abstract: hyperbolic dynamical systems are the chaotic dynamics which are well understood, but they don't
represent the general chaotic systems. When we relax as few a possible the hyperbolic structure, one obtains the partial hyperbolicity with 1-dimensional center. Some important tools for understanding such dynamics are the center-stable and center-unstable foliations. Such partially hyperbolic system is called incoherent if it does not admit such invariant foliation, and is totally incoherent if the lack of foliation is dense in the whole manifold.
With Golovev, Hammerlindl and Potrie, we build the first examples of totally incoherent partially hyperbolic diffeomorphisms.
